No Guts, No Glory
Well, I heard from BM today, even though it is a direct violation of the court order. She called in lieu of her attorney b/c said attroney is "out sick." We had been leaving messages for attorney to expain some things to us and to send the documents for our attorney to look over before we sign. Attorney must have told her client (BM) and this is why she she is calling and what she says
Me: Hello?
BM: Why won't you just sign the papers so you adopt the kids? I...
Me: Well hello to you too sunshine (in a very cheery voice)
BM: Don't hello me, I want to know why you want to drag your attorney in on this, all you have to do is sign a few papers and adopt the little brats
Me: Hang on... Okay, would you repeat that last part? I had to turn on my recorder.
BM: Screw you, you f-ing b**ch. Your too scared to raise the boys, I know it. WHY DO YOU WANT YOUR OWN ATTORNEY IN ON THIS?? (This she screams)
Me: Umm let see, DUH!!! And listen, lady, I have plenty of guts, I have been dealing with the children, and all you've done to them for 2 years now thank you very much. It was nice talking to you, have a nice day!!
and I hung up. I have no guts? I'm scared? She doesn't WANT us to involve our attorney?!? Okayyy... what in the world is going on? I'l tell you what, I am NOT going to sign ANYTHING w/o our attorney approving it first. Hmmm... I wonder if she took her meds today?

And for the record, you always involve an attorney, get the papers signed by the judge, and filed, that way in 4 months when she might be feeling some remorse for her own actions (probbably won't happen), she can't just rip the kids out of school and take them home with her if she feels like it.

I feel much better reading all your comments. At least I'm not the only one who sees it that way. I haven't responded to anymore of her bitchfests since then. One Thing
I have NEVER done w/ BM is let her know how much she pisses me off, my DH has done that and I swear she gets an orgasim doing it. I say it sarcasticly but sarcasm is lost on her. Still, it makes me feel better. Oh, and if I'm face ot face with her when I say it, I throw in a big grin just for her!!
