OT sort of
Since we don't have any small children in the house and yesterday was so nice I decided to have a little fun. When I was working as a waitress I had to buy several white blouses, don't know why they wanted us to wear white. Anyway I don't like to wear white myself, gets too dirty, and I'm too cheap to throw them away. I have about a dozen huge margarine buckets that we used at the restaurant. So there I was bored and looking for something to do when it hit me, I have the buckets and blouses that I would like to wear so I decided I'd dye them. There I was on the front porch with 7 buckets lined up, each one with a pretty, bright color. Now I have all these pretty tops to wear. I hate wasting anything, so I asked H if he or sd wanted to dye any of their t-shirts. I thought it might be fun to do some tie-dye so I made myself several. They didn't want to so I emptied out the tubs. After I had cleaned everything up sd starts whining that I hadn't let her do any of her shirts. Translate that to mean I didn't do it for her. I pointed at the tubs and told her to walk to the store and buy her own dye and do it herself. I'm such a little stinker. I had a ball dying aprons, t-shirts, anything I could get my hands on. I'm planning on doing it again the next nice weekend for the grandkids.

DISNEY LIED...THERE IS NO 'HAPPILY EVER AFTER'
idea! I've got a bunch of tees that need perking up - I might just try this! I'm sure SD17 loves the tye dyed look, in fact I believe she made herself one at school recently. Maybe this would be activity we could actually enjoy together.
