Update from last night
He doesn't remember ANYTHING from last night!!!!!
He's given me all the "sorry, it will never happen again" blah blah blah
I chewed him out for probably 30 minutes and so did his mother, but I've come to the conclusion that he won't be changing. I have plans for this weekend and the last week of the month!
I'm praying tomorrow I find out that I have a job.

You're married to a bottle, not a man. You're right to leave him -- there's no way to have a good relationship with alcohol. Good luck on the job!!!!!!

they're only sorry
until the next time. Please take care of yourself.
One can only hope!

Honey - I usually really try to refrain from telling anyone to "get out" because I just don't know the situation from blogs.
But if this man has done those things.... kicked a puppy... threatened you... has been physically abusive... GET OUT.
Save yourself and do it before you have any children together and you're even more stuck. It could be, that in this situation, BM may not have been the bad guy.
And if he is a nice guy, then let him get the help he desperately needs for you to come back.
After the divorce
The BM actually has more issues than he does -- how absolutely sad is that?!?! My heart bleeds for these children. I love them dearly, but I just can't live like this anymore.
I have another interview this week
I have to agree with Stick
He physically abused you. Leave..he physically abused a poor puppy - Leave..if he truly loves you he needs to love himself first and get some help. You can support him..but you need to have tough love right now and remove yourself from the situation while you support him.
"He grew up in my heart, not my belly"
And when you leave don't forget to take the puppy!!
"And this too shall pass..."
Getting Out
This will happen ASAP. I just need a job that will pay my bills. My dad is a policeman and now that he knows, the husband is shaking in his shoes -- it's a nice change! It buys me some time!
