actually its the 80th anniversary of the animated movie snow white. the one with the evil witch queen as the step mother.

we need to keep firmly in mind that the original fairy tale had snow whites bio mom as the evil woman.

At least it seems mostly focused around Snow White instead of the “evil queen”

Stories with evil stepmoms make me cringe s bit. Anyone can be evil, why do we take the ones with hard roles and decide “BOOM! Evil.”?

I've never read a snow white story that painted the bio mom as evil...

its true. the original story from 200 years ago had the bm as the villain. i dont know at what point the status what changed to sm.

unfair as bms can also be blamed for screwing up their own children and them handing them off to the sm.
