Last night DH and I went on a date. Just a small one to an irish pub ate and drank alittle.. Well, ok I was buzzing and in a talkative mood. I told him about my online friends, about our retreat at our cabin.....I was waiting for his response and boy oh boy was I glad with his response... He said that he was glad that I had this outlet. I explained that how many times you people here have saved our marriage and my sanity. I told him that if maybe if I had found yall sooner, that just maybe our situation would have turned out differentl.

I attempted to pull up steptalk and let him read the blog that Sita and Kathleen posted about our weekend at the cabin, but my Iphone kept crashing. When we got home, I pulled it up and he read them and said it sounded like yall had a great time. He wanted to know if we beat the sh*t out of the pinata...That was funny, I explained to him it was a type of healing process and let it all go and he was impressed. I pulled zen's myspace and showed him the photo's and he was ok with everything. DH being a very ulta conservative person, I was a tad nervous, but it turned out great. I felt a load off of my shoulders. I told him about the next retreat in October. I think that after I explained that you people here are very supporative to me and my situation and offers advice, that he understood. I explained that I at times need to vent to people who have been in my shoes and that I don't want to vent to him all the time.

So, here I am sitting in my comfort chair online and he is next to me and I feel like I don't need to look over my shoulder. Wow, what a great feeling.

In the midst of our conv, I texted one of my friends here and told her and she responded by saying, did you have to get drunk to tell him like I did and I laughed and responded yes....I'm so glad that I did.
