Ever hear that phrase? I always just brush it off and ignore it. Thankfully my skids aren't saying it to be snotty, they just can't comprehend that there are other way to do things. Even so, here are some of the responses I would like to give (but never would actually say out loud).

1. That's because your mother is a moron.

2. Does this look like your mother's house? I don't see any crack pipes laying around so it must not be.

3. Well, then, if you want to do it that way, go back to your mother. I will give you a ride.

4. If I wanted your input, I would beat it out of you.

5. If your mother has all the answers, then why is she a welfare whore?

6. Ever hear the expression "children were meant to be seen and not heard"? It's true, but I don't want to see you either. Please disappear before I lose it.

**Reminder** I would never say these things or abuse my skids in any way.

Anyone else have some good pent up responses?

I am not the Zoo Keeper so if you want to run around like wild zoo animales go back to your Mothers. Oh wait she is to busy f&^king a married BF!

1. Is that really how your mommy does it? Well, she ignores you 358 days a year...If I do THIS like mommy can I ignore you too?

2. Yes well, mommy is a whore so...I don't care!

3. Mommy only gave you $25.00 for your birthday, want me to do gifts like your mommy?

But my actual answer is ALWAYS "Oh, really? Welcome home!" this ALWAYS ends the conversation with me smiling & them looking dissatisfied with the outcome. Poor babies!

I forgot the cheese on skids burger last week, he complained to DH, and I responded: This ain't burger king, and you can't have it your way.

HAHA love these!

But does anyone have any legit responses? My SD made a comment the other day "This isn't how my mom makes tacos." Like OPs, she wasn't trying to be snotty, just a fact. I want to tell her it's not polite to point out these things, but don't want it to look like it makes me mad or put her in a bad situation.

OMG it drives me crazy!! I love the responses!! Mine is def 'well do I look like your skank of a mum??no, so this is my way, lump it or leave it'.
I know they dont do it to be rude but it really kicks you and then makes you royally peed off. I just hope that when they are older they will see what we done for them..wont hold my breath tho!

My SS just made that comment to me a few days ago. Without thinking, I responded 'And thank God for that!!!'

I looked up to see my DH and SS shocked at my response.

In order to save myself I then added, 'because God made us all unique and special', and I gave a nice smile. Smile

^^^HAHAHA!^^^ I have so done this. God, I need to learn to keep my mouth shut. I said the "thank God! Hallelujah!" when SD yelled "you're not my mom!" the other day. oopsie
