Putting SKids into counselling.

My SKids are nasty and in need of an outside source to help them get through their issues. I don't even know how to begin doing this. My SO agrees, but the other bio parent of the SKids does not want them to go. Looking online has brought me to a lot of fluff sites or seemingly good places that are way too far out of our price range and lack the ability to negotiate costs. How do you find an affordable therapist/counsellor?

Check with your insurance first. If you're not insured, it's gonna be tough. Look to county run mental health clinics and churches.
Also, what does the court order state? Do both parents need to agree on mental health counseling? If so, expect a huge uphill battle.
