Father's Day

Just a rant.

Skid almost cancelled seeing DH for Father's Day because he wanted to go out of town and watch his older half-sister at a competition. His half-sister does not really put any effort into a relationship with her, he just thinks she is so cool because she likes to party, has 2 DUIs and 2 full sleeves of tattoos and she's not even 25. He is puppy like around her. DH was very disappointed thinking skid wasn't going to see him for Father's Day.

At the last minute ( or maybe he did not have enough money to go out of town) he decided to stay in our City over the weekend. Invites DH to do for breakfast and the driving range range and DH gets to pay the tab for both. Skid makes decent money but never treats his dad only fleeces him? Happy Father's Day!

At least he did not ask for money from his dad.

My SDs don't even call. It's disgusting. One has been supported by us up until now----she'll have to go to the welfare office.

I am sorry for your DH. Sometimes our children are so ungrateful until it is too late.

My daughter barely talks to me because my ex seems more needy and told a lot of misleading tales surrounding our divorce. My daughter didn't understand why I would't talk to her about it. I think children have no business in the middle of their parents marriage whether they are adults or not. So because I wouldn't tell her stuff and he cried to her, he has her sympathy. My sister too (we were married for 24 1/2 years). I kinda just want to run away from all the people who disappoint us. I guess I am taking my boys only and leaving in that case. lol!
