Update to Step free Thanksgiving and a new weapon :/

Well MSD called this morning apparently SS told the SDs I invited him to Thanksgiving but he wasn't able to make it. He did not extend the invite to them so I guess when we say "let your sister's know" he doesn't understand that means let them know the time!!! So now the SDs may come by.

And MSD announced she was pregnant FML! She is the SD I have the biggest problems with and starts the most crap. I pray she doesn't use this baby as a weapon against DH but I'm sure she will.

We've already been through it

We've already been through it with OSD so this time he sees it coming. I think SGS was about 3 months old when OSD told DH he had to chose between his grandchild or me. DH thankfully got really mad and told he was a grown man and didn't have to chose.

My holidays are always step

My holidays are always step free, as my SD has always preferred to spend them with her BM and that side of the family.

She has two kids, who when talking to SD about DH, have started referring to him as "your dad" instead of Paw Paw (like they used to). When DH brought it up to her a few weeks ago, and the fact that she does not correct them, it turned into a very heated discussion and they are not speaking now. DH has called her since, but she was very stand offish. Will be interesting to see if she calls him today.

It's sad and it hurts him, but DH has basically come to terms with it. In his case, he should have never had kids and he's paying for it.

Etexasmom...The only way sd can use her child (the grandchild) as a weapon is if you allow it.

Someone has to end the drama from continuing onward in generations, why not YOU be the one to say "DONT try it SD"...
