not sure if this is the exact right place, but I think she is mentally unfit. BM still technically has custody but SD has chosen to live with us for the past 3.5 years. But kid still has the ability to go and live with BM. This s what scares us. SD is 15 and starting to feel the need to help take care of 'mom' and her 6 year old brother from another father. There is no legal action possible. just trying to convince a 15 yro kid she is better off looking out for her own life, her own future is a very hard thing to say flat out. SHe wants to help her mom and brother, but she is only 15. She cannot without compromising her own future. But I do not know how to say this gently. any help??
