vacation w/ skids
Just got back from a great trip w/ skids and my family! Try as she might, BM was not able to find really any way to mess it up. What a success! The only thing that she did was keep them out of school on Monday so that she could keep them home w/ her for re-programming...after we had carefully pre-planned and scheduled six months in advance the two days that we were having them miss. But DH emailed their teachers to apologize that they didn't return on Monday and explain that it hadn't been his decision.
Upon our return, DH tried to schedule his time for YSS's bday and she bascially said, "You had them for his bday last year, so you don't get them this year." Dumb. Will she ever learn that the guidelines don't allow her to dictate DH's time with them?

She will only learn that the guidelines don't allow her to dictate if dh doesn't allow her to dictate. Our cs, spells out sd's bday falls where it falls and whoever has her on that day according to the remainder of the order gets her. The other parent can celebrate on their next court ordered day.

Yeah, ours is that DH gets them every other year ON their bday and every other year the day before their bday.
