I've been following steptalk for about a year. I'm really hesitant to post anything personal for anyone out there to see, so this is my first post. (I'm not sure if there is even a way to delete a post if we're having a bad day and need to vent but don't want our words to be out there for posterity.)

I just wanted to let you know what a help you have been as I've been reading your posts/blogs and knowing I'm not alone! I'm just trying to hang tight through the holidays and balance my wish for warm family feelings during the holidays with the need to disengage at the level I need to maintain my sanity and self-respect. It's not an easy balance for me yet.
