DH became the perfect house husband!
I went out of town to NY Thursday and Friday for work, then flew straight to FL for my friend's wedding. DH didn't come, because the flight was expensive (he is unemployed still) and he isn't very close with my friend. I had a girlfriend going solo as well, so we went together.
I landed Sunday at 5 and DH picked me up. When we got home, I was amazed. The house was IMMACULATE! He had vaccumed the whole house, swept and mopped the hardwoods, dusted everything, cleaned all bathrooms, emptied the trash etc. I didn't even know he knew how to use our mop!
THEN I noticed the delicious smell. DH had roasted some butternut squash and seeds, and I sat on the couch and relaxed while he made me dinner! He cooked an INCREDIBLE risotto with butternut squash, pumpkin and butternut squash seeds, pine nuts, sage, lemon, cheese, and more. It was so delicious.
I think I need to go out of town more often!!! Needless to say, he got a ton of positive reinforcement (verbally and physically )

Yes! Thankfully DH is an amazing cook and enjoys it. We have too many cookbooks of his....I made him donate some recently so we've narrowed it down to 2 shelves in the kitchen!
I wonder what he's guilty of?
