One nice thing about working next door to a restaurant?

The chef stopped by this morning with breakfast for the three of us. Pineapple waffles, with pineapple butter and coconut. They were delicious.

Pineapple butter sounds so intriguing. My YBS is obsessed waffles. We put cornbread batter into our waffle iron, and he liked it so much that he actually consumed chili.

It appears he heated the butter with chopped pineapple in it.

I loved it because I hate sweet and this wasn't sweet.

Inlove it when this particular chef takes a day shift. Last time it was apple waffles with honey and cinnamon butter.

When he works nights. We get appetizers.

A little place in Kamuela. They serve lunch and dinner. This particular chef usually works the dinner shifts. When they call him in for a day shift, he makes breakfast for the crew. Every once in a while, he makes extra for the three of us in the office next door.
