I couldn't believe it! For Easter, the family channel re-played "The Sound of Music", you know, where Maria becomes the stepmom of 7 kids! I've seen it a million times but just realized when she first got to the Von Trapp house, those kids treated her like crap too! And what did Maria do? She sat at the dinner table and "thanked" the kids for their "warm welcome" (they put a frog in her pocket). They all ended up crying and running from the table.
It finally dawned on me--GUILT!!

How could anyone EVER fault any of us for emulating Maria Von Trapp?????

So, today at Easter dinner (hateful SD has been ordered to apologize for the shove) (and you'll have to read my blog) I'm going to try the guilt card on her little (huge, like BM's) ass.

I'm thinking that when she says she's sorry for the shove I could (like Maria Von Trapp) tell her calming and sweetly that it wasn't the shove to my body that hurt, it's the "shove up my ass" for all I've done for her that is breaking my heart.

I'm sure I'll say more, I'm better off-the-cuff than pre-planned speeches.
