I was responding on someone else's thread today and mentioned that even when the skids are gone for the weekend their presence still looms over my head. I have constant reminders that my 48 hrs of skidless time is almost up and it will be weeks before they leave again.
Here is an example of how they never go away. I hear DH on the phone talking to SS11.. Heyyyyy buddyyyy.......how much is that?.......ya we can look at it........blah blah blah.......bye buddy love you.
A few mins later....heyyyyy buddy......blah blah blah PlayStation blah blah......ok now just push confirm purchase.
YOU ARE AT YOUR MOTHER'S HOUSE. COULD YOU EVER ASK YOUR MOTHER FOR ANYTHING ?!?!?!?

Why would you think they would ever go away? They are not supposed to even talk to their dad if it is not "his" time?

They spend about 4 days a month with BM. They cant ask her to update their playstation account? We spend $20/mo on some playstation game. If they are hungry should they call us to send them a pizza...no. Ask BM for the things they "need" while they are there. We provide their clothes, entertainment(game consoles, ipads), phones, toothbrushes, medication all sent over there, not always come back in same condition.

Typically the custodial parent does provide all of that stuff.

My Step Daughter refuses to have a sweet 16 party...on the bases that I offered to throw her one. I married her father 1 yr ago and she told me Im overstepping. And said IM NOT HER MOTHER.
Why am I the ass? I rented a hall with invites ready to go out to everyone Her Mother her mother's family I mean including everyone.
Oh important note I asked her Mom 1st and she said she didn't have the $$$ to throw the party.
Help now what?
DO NOTHING is my best advice.
