She is permitted
The light at the end of the tunnel of dependent skids is approaching!
Sd17 Power Sulk has finally gotten her permit to drive! A year and two months after signing up for the course and then sitting on the completed 10 chapters with 1 to go. I am quietly ecstatic. Good. Now she can get a job and get a life.
This afternoon, however I have to endure the arrival of PowerSulk Cps for the entirety of the weakened. Of course, after everything that I have mentioned, you know that my anxiety is high, and I did express that during my "heads up phone call", when I was told that she would be completing her week visitation this weekend (darn!!! Almost home free!!!), and that he would be needing to take her "back to school shopping". I mentioned that I had wondered and thought that this would be needing to occur, but that I am out of things, so I just dont ask anymore.
Husband mentioned that powersulk CPS wanted a "break from toxic troll for a little bit". Said in a smug fashion. Whereby I quickly interjected that "she will start needing to get used to being around toxic troll A LOT for the future"> lol. Because the way she treated me its to be assumed she will be living with toxic troll full time!!!
Some reasons my anxiety are high right now:
Husband might want to take her shopping before our day of social activities start and I end up waiting and waiting and waiting...and eventually going on my own.
Husband might think its a good idea to invite PowerSulk Cps along with us (no!!! dont think!!!) to art event (because shes an artist and he deperately wants to be the proud father...) and bday party.
IDK. Its awkard and uncomfortable and I work so that I can have a peacefull home that is my emotional sanctuary.

Change of Plans
Sorry, DH....there has been a time change for said events. I need to leave much earlier than planned. Please! Enjoy your time with PS. I hope you guys find some cute things. I'll see you when I get home.
Be done with that crap.
Give H
PLENTY of SOLO quality time with PS.
NO back to School shopping by ME
Not my problem, not my child, if DH has the money for back to school shopping. That will be in the $1,000 s. That up to him. Better not be your or household money
Don't count on the license
Don't count on the license freedom. YSD had hers since September. Today she's doing her FIRST solo drive. DH actually is following my advice to get her to do this!
Annnnd nope. She efing came
Annnnd nope. She efing came up with THE LAMEST excuse: her tailbone hurt so she couldn't drive herself. Eff. Off.
I said quite loudly, B.S., it's an excuse!
FFS she's been sitting on her ass all weekend, no problem stiing at the table for dinner the last two nights, or playing games with DH two nights in a row, sitting down!
Ask DH how she did it. "She doesn't know."
So I had to run around the house like crazy, thees dirty dishes still in the sink, while DH dropped her off. We are going out of town for the night and her leaving an hour before we did was part of the plan. At least she's gone.
No freaking backbone is not a good way to start a quick vacation.
Went really well so far
PowerSulk CPS was given some cash, went off with a friend to the nearby mall, and today he will take her himself (he doesnt like to just give cash without knowing what is bought...hes frugal that way). We went to our art show by a brilliant local artist whose work was selling like hot cakes, (and I now have 5 of his art pieces, up from 4!) then a garden birthdady party which was fun and in full swing and everyone was pretty cool and jovial.
It was a good night. No dramz.
I'm so glad it went well!!

SS had no interest in his license.
He finally got it 6mos after turning 18. We bought him a car as his combo HS graduation, 18th B-day, Christmas,& USAF enlistment gift. We gave it to him on Christmas, at my parents' house. His mom and I left for home a week later and told him to figure out how to get himself and his car home.
A month later he had his DL and he and his car pulled into our driveway after a 4hr road trip. One of his Christmas gifts was driving school. My dad also put him through the Grandpa Driving bootcamp from hell.
The burning platform has to be modified upon occasion as kid hesitancy to launch requires.
No rides, a car they can't use, being left hundreds of miles from home, no money, etc...
