So things have been going well with the skids. I still don't like them much but they're polite, the spying and games have minimised and we've put BM in her place a few times with the help of the police and court.

We have the skids from tonight till Sunday. This is the first time ever that we've had them over Thanksgiving as BM always refused to hand them over. The custody order is in place this time but DH received text from SS11 stating 'I have a life do not want to go with you, I would rather go with friends and also you cannot make me go I am my own person.' DH is going to explain he's not his own person till he turns 18 and he's also going to be punished for sending a text like that. Stomp on the little turd now before we reach the teenage years. I know BM has been winding him up and was probably behind the text too.

DH responded that he would talk to SS11 when he arrived tonight and he wouldn't discuss this any further over text, he will only discuss this in person. So proud of DH getting the hang if this parenting thing. So SS11 is in trouble before he even steps through the door tonight. Oh I think Thanksgiving is going to be a riot this year.
