We are married!

Had a week of vacation/wedding events with family and a small ceremony in a sunny location.

Everything went great - families all met and got along and we had about 1.5 days of honeymoon at a very nice hotel.

The SDs were with us up till the wedding day and were actually really great. No complaining about food (they just dealt with it or asked us for help) they got along with each other (but for first night when everyone was tired and we had to get up early the next day and threatened to not go somewhere-that quieted them down quick).

On the wedding day they were good for the most part. SD10 had zero issues and even sat by me at the dinner. SD12 developed an attitude during some photos when she realized, I think, that it wasn't all fun (and rainbows and unicorns) and I told DH to NOT carry her shoes for her (!!!)...and that the night was not about her. At the dinner she got started griping at me that she wasn't sitting by my niece and wouldn't stop even after I told her to hold it for a minute (we had JUST got there). DH went to greet his brother and SD started almost yelling at me. Oh no you don't. I laid into her while I was trying to rearrange people so she could sit next to niece and she wouldn't calm down to realize what I was doing for her. She ended up in tears and I had to walk away for a minute. My wonderful sister and DHs sister took her away and calmed her down (stress of day and she's almost 13). She was fine after that!
