I got 6 screws in my ankle on Friday- my 4 your anniversary is Thursday the 27th. Yeah- it sucks, I didn't purposely break my ankle - I just shopped until I dropped!

My DH and wonderful stepdad helped me all day today to make sure our big family present ( a ping pong table) was put together and while my ds2 helped- my stepsons 13 and 10 were so happy when they came home! Ss13 is a paraplegic so finding things for the family is hard! He was really tired when he got home but- played!

Ss10 is an amazing kid - and while I am proud of him for helping play Santa! I was the most proud when I asked him about his Christmas with BM - he told me about what his BM got and ss13 got! I have pushed it better to give than receive for many years- and that has sunk in!

I can't walk for the next 3 months - whatever it sucks! But, he is a good leader so while my work with bs2 isn't done he has a brother he adores teaching him values I love and have instilled! And despite my extreme dislike for his BM- I am glad he treated her nicely and enjoyed giving!
