I think the 18-year-old cares very deeply for his brothers and just wants to do what's right by them. He sounds like he's the only mature person out of the 3 of them (him and his parents). This reminds me of the Charlie Sheen-Denise Richards battle in that I don't think either parent is 100% right and the truth is somewhere in the middle.

I do think the court should still look into the possibility of PAS being practiced by the father. I know we bash BMs on here for practicing PAS but the reality is that any parent (regardless of gender) can practice it against another parent. PAS should be considered child abuse and be a crime!

Amen Sista! The BM in our situation is horrible at this! She once told me that she would put so many things in the kid's head that they would never want to come over! Its been a constant battle trying to defend ourselves without it looking like we're our calling the kid's mother a liar (which she is) or just has a serious case of distorted reality and trying to avoid PAS ourselves! its very tempting at times i have to admit but i would never go down that road. i feel your pain and the pain of all those out there going through anything like this! it is the most sad and frusterating and unfair situation where everything is made so much worse than it has to be!
