I have been on Birth Control (ortho cyclen lo) for about 7 years now. Without it my period is usually irregular. Well Last month I had my friend visit me on the 14th through the 17th. I notice I had missed 4 'Active" blue pills straight in a row the following week so I decided to throw the pack away and start a new one once I start my Period again the following month. Well I ended up getting Intimate with my fiance while I was off the pill and with no back up protection.(we used the pill out method.)I looked at my menstrual calender and noticed we did it on the week I was Fertile. (I spotted that week but it was very lite it lasted 4 days) Well Now its August the 22nd and I'm 11 days late!! Mother nature has yet to visit me. So I have not been able to go back on BC yet. I'm experiencing sore boobs just a lite soreness on the nipples, a little dizziness, a lil nausea and I'm bloated as heck!. I took two pregnancy tests and both came out N. My sister had to take a blood test to find out she was pregnant with her first child because the pregnancy tests she would take would say N when it should have been a P. I don't know if that's genetic, if that could happen to me since this will be my first child??? Then there's the fact that maybe I'm not really feeling any of the symptoms I just mention and its all in my head. The mind is a powerful thing (Its happened to me before, I think I'm pregnant when at the end I turn out not to be.) and it doesn't help that I'm constantly reading a lot on facts/symptoms about pregnancy and the effects of getting off BC so I don't know anymore?? I want to be preggos and at the same time I don't and only because I had already purchased my wedding gown and It would suck not being able to fit in it....

Anyway I dont know if I should wait it out until next month and see if my friend stops by for a visit or just take a blood test and see what happens from there...

What do you think it is and what should I do??? :?
