How is everyone? Just want to introduce myself. I'm a stepmom and bio mom of two girls 13 & 14.

I am disengaged AGAIN as of yesterday!

We were pursuing custody after my SD was dumped on our doorstep and a week later was PASed back to the loving arms of BM :sick: (not before we spent $1,200 on registering her for private school and a custody mod that BM said she would agree too! but changed her mind when it dawned on her she may have to pay CS :jawdrop: )

Our lawyer advised us not to waste our time and money since it would be at least a year before the mediations would be done and by that time the kid would be 16 and coming and going as she wished anyway.
So that's what we are doing, we are done! Even if the kid ever wants to come back to live with us she will be told NO!! If BM dumps her on our doorstep again we will call the police and have her taken back!

This is not my first rodeo with Steptalk by the way I am a returning old member just here to offer advice to the pits of stephell!
