First the teacher called about SS18's tardies and now BM has looked at grades and is on DH's a*& about it. FINALLY! I hate that woman more than anything but I have to say I'm with her on this one and I love when she unleashes on DH about skids bad grades! Sad that it takes her to get DH to finally act and do something! UGH...but I'm over here still laughing! ROFL

  I was VERY disengaged when SS was younger.  So I usually stayed out of his business.  UNTIL … mid way through his senior year, he was about to fail out of school.  I freaked out. 

He was supposed to go into the navy right after graduation and neither BM nor DH seemed to care that it would be put off a year if he did not graduate.   Well I cared because he lived with US!  So I rode DHs butt hard and stayed on top of him to stay on top of SS and his grades.  I did not want this kid living with me another year!!  

 

 He did pass thank goodness!!!

Willow~ I think I would have been in H's @ss to if I wanted the step kid out LOL. Other than that I wouldn't care.

That is eactly why I check his grades/attendance daily and tell DH! But he just gives me lip service about it, "I'll get him"...yada yada! It takes BM getting on his back to literally make him do something which is sad, but true. I have wanted to somehow send her this info but he would know it came from me. Now, I don't have to worry about it. She is looking and on DH! I want both SD17 and SS18 gone. I know SD17 will go to college becasue she has the drive and wants to do well. Plus she hates living with us so one way or the other she will be gone. I've never wanted a year to go by fast ever, until this year.
