We have planned a vacation in conjunction with our 1 year wedding anniversary. We are leaving on a Carnival Cruise to mexico on 24 August.

Our actual anniversary is two weeks earlier than that but we planned it so that we will not have any disruptions. SD starts school in NC the 10th of August... and all of the orientations, school prep, school clothes and everything else will have already been taken care of. We also are making sure that it does not fall on a visitation weekend and does not interfere with anything that heffa could call us about.

(Not that we are telling her we are going on vacation anyways - it does not affect her in any way - and it is just none of her dang business). But of course she feels it is necessary for us to share all of our information with her as she is the mother of his only child. AND gets upset when we do not discuss our decisions with her - the only ones she need to know about are those that affect SD.

So if DH tells SD and then BM thinks she will get the chance to ruin it - she will be sorely mistaken.

I am so looking forward to 5 days with no contact with anyone but ourselves. Our cell phones will not even be turned on while on the cruise - we are not paying international rates to make a call. We will not be checking email either - not that she even has a computer - school does not start for her until after labor day (as BM is a teacher as well).

It will be so good to not have to even think about her azz during that time. It will be just great. We will really need that break as we are scheduled now for the custody battle (she filed against us) for 9 September. I am already counting down the days (35 till cruise day).

Now i am just hoping DH keeps his mouth closed and doesn't tell SD until just before we go - so that when it gets back to BM - she will not have the opportunity to try and ruin it for us at all.

She tried to ruin the family vacation we took back in March until we decided to leave cell phones in the condo we rented until we returned back to the room - which was nice - 6 days vacation and we didn't return until late in Mrytle Beach.
