Dear Valued Users,
It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.
This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.
We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.
We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and we wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Dawn and The StepTalk Team

I read that, really good. I
I read that, really good. I let DH know some info from the book, the 'sleep hints' or guidelines at the end are great. Of course, just like PAS and step-mother stuff he's never read it. If he likes sleeping troubles, that's on him. You can say I've disengaged from that too.
Chef
snores like a thousand 767s taking off. he has no medical and after a recent row , i have applied for VA benefits on his behalf instead of paying cash from the bank of thinkthrice. He has objected drawing any Vet benefits to this point, however, I have him over a barrel now.
I do believe he has RA in one ankle and of course sleep apnea as he stops breathing routinely then gasps for air.
We now sleep in separate bedrooms although this upsets him; I'm a light sleeper to begin with which has only gotten worse with age. I also wear these fantastic earplugs. used to think the disposables were great...not so much.
I also tried the CPAP machine as I have light apnea. Epic fail!
