Here we go again
I woke up from sleeping (I work 3rds) and was told that R wants a game. M asked for my opinion and when I pointed out that he hadn't done anything to earn the game, it was made into a joke and they just left to go pick up the game.
This is exactly what I hate about being a step-parent. We have less than 200 dollars in our account, I asked if he couldn't wait until we got paid on Friday, but obviously you can see how that went over.
Oh, I brought up the fact that my car is overdo for an oil change and it was suggested that the step-son change my oil in exchange for getting the game. Yeah, is it ok if I am not comfortable with this arrangement?

Oh, yeah did I mention that Where I go to get my oil changed it costs $19.99 including the oil and filter. If the step-son changes the oil it would be $20 not including the cost of filter or oil.

Yes, keep your income separate...PS - we had separate accounts until I stopped working/lost my job...we now have one account and I am about to lose it...the stress is wearing me out because of that same "200USD" in account, wondering what stupid crap DH will pull next...sigh...I think I will tell him from now on he needs to give me X amount a month for ME...otherwise, he can figure out bills on his own...however, if he screws up, I'm outta here...worn out...
