Took the cat to the vet. No microchip, nasty case of worms, so lots of meds and shots later (Bill was OVER $300) DC is on his way to being healthy. Vet gave me some liquid vitamins to mix with his food, because despite him being big (14.8 pounds) his teeth/gums and lab work showed him to have mal nutritian issues. Recheck in a month and then schedule surgery to have him fixed.

Consindering DH keeps calling him "That D*mn Cat" the kids named him DC. He is a good cat. He is overly fond of DH's recliner, spends his day roaming from one napping spot to another and will wake you up howeling at 2 am if either his water dish or food dish is empty. He loves chasing the little red lazer light, and is terrified of the ginormous stuffed mouse/ scratching toy DH picked him up. And has a fetish for flip flops, if you leave them out he will wrestle with them and walk around the house with one in his mouth.

In other news: the judge cut sd18 loose yesterday with time served for violating the RO. She still has another court date coming up to explain why she did not complete her service hours on time. (aka made no effort to do them) She is living with BM's parents. BM is still in jail as far as we know.
