Hey guys and gals! I noticed I normally only post problems on this site so I figured why not try to contribute positively for once! Lol

Any way if you're like me you probably don' like bugs especially in the house. One of my two year olds particularly likes the ants..thinks they're great,shares his snacks with them ect. But I hate ants and also hate chemicals!  So this is a trick my hippie mother taught me for the insect invasion that' bound to happen this summer. 

And it works on spiders too!(Severely arachniphobic) 

Buy a spray bottle (about the same size as you get windex) and some pharmacy grade 100% peppermint essential oil

Add about ten to thirteen drops to your bottle fill the rest up with water and shake until mixed spray anywhere and everywhere you may think the little critters are hiding  (corners cabinets behind and underneath furniture ) don't be too over zealous as a little of this stuff goes a long way*learned that the hard way* but it's safe around little kiddies and most pets *not sure how it affects birds but if you are worried I advise don' spray by your birdie or rodents* ok well that' all from me thanks everyone for the support!
