It's always something
So SO's ex has been "offering" us the kids for a week at a time. Other than it being a huge change from her normal behavior of saying the kids don't want to come and she's not going to force them since they will cry and scream (because SHE never sees her son he cries for her because he sees her when she gets him and brings him to us.) We've been picking them up from summer camp and they are just tickled to see us and stay for so long.
Now just 2 weeks ago his dd had nits AGAIN her mom said she had treated her hair just the day before and we didn't see bugs so we picked out the nits.
Get them again yesterday and the daycare/camp lady in charge says she has nits again. My SO tells her that every time we get them she has lice and it's been on going since November. We get the stuff to treat do her hair and SO and I take turns spending several hours going through her hair. At one point she's crying because shes "so tired of bugs in her hair and it itches and she's sick of us having to pick through her hair"
I'm sick of having to do it! We told her it isn't her fault. Then SO's ds tells us a councilor in training grabbed his arm and squeezed, squeezed his head and pushed him back, had to call cps and have a feeling this is gonna cause huge issues but I can't just disregard what this kid said but the daycare/camp could end up kicking the kids out over it simply because. But if someones is hurting this kid like that at daycare it CAN'T be ignored. I was told they would be out within 24 hours I have to work SO thinks his son may be making it up or exaggerating or it happened a long time ago (the kids still see long time ago as last week)
I'm tired and it's only Tuesday.
