Every Friday night the douche boys come for dinner. They stay until Sunday. I don't join them at meals anymore because I refuse to have every dish I make be criticized and sit at a table with rude selfish brats who scream and grab things with their fingers....take an entire dish full of one thing before it gets passed around...burp, fart, well you know the routine. Well, for months now they have been SUPPOSEDLY clearing the dishes off the table after dinner and I can hear that once again they have jumped up from the meal and run downstairs back to the XBOX without even putting their own plates away. Where they will reside all weekend. Why does it bother me SO MUCH that my fiancee keeps promising me that he will make them do SOMETHING....but yet again....HE NEVER DOES AND ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS MAKES AN EXCUSE FOR THEM. WHY??? Oh, I told them I got it this time because the new halo just came out. Or....oh, they had soccer practice, or the dishwasher was full of clean dishes, or oh I forgot to tell them. What's even funnier is that they were discussing careers at the table (I was eavesdropping) and apparently older douche, the dumbest of them all, is going to be a brain surgeon when he grows up. He cannot even take on the responsibility of taking a shower once a week on his own or change clothes....in fact he wore the same shirt two years in a row in his school pictures. But he is apparently BRAIN SURGEON MATERIAL. This is the boy who told me my face looks like an old suitcase at Thanksgiving two years ago. That was a bright move.
