More about nut job leaving the reception early

lovin-life's picture

Things have been very busy. We just got back in town from Fastpitch Provincials..this is the 1st year we've been out of the medals. The girls had fun...the parents had fun...so all's good!

I mentioned that Hubby's nut job ex...left the reception early the night of SD's wedding. Apparently, she was pretty upset..crying and everything. Hugging people and saying things like "It's too emotional." and "It's just bringing back too many memories."

Memories of her own wedding?!? or Memories of her other daughters wedding that was held in the same place..with the same poeple when she was still married to my guy? Or Memories of all the dances she attended with him at that hall over the years.....?

..regardless...

After six years she still hasn't moved on.....
She still has "issues" and "feelings" for her former husband to the extent that she had to leave her daughters wedding!

The ironic thing is...she attending the wedding with her Boyfriend..one of the men she was screwing for over a year when she was still married. I wonder what he thinks after seeing the tears and her reation to memories with her former husband.

I know hubby printed off her "thinking of you often" e-mail that she sent a couple years ago...and gave it to her BF and told him to "keep your woman away from me, I can't stand her"

So...I'm kinda feeling sorry for her... (I'm sure the feeling will pass)

She must be such an unhappy soul...to be hurting that much, or regretting what she has done, to be that emotional, that she had to leave her childs wedding celebration...because she couldn't handle the memories of what she had..or seeing that he has moved on.

....I do feel sorry for her.

Nah.. she just did it for the attention. I really believe that. Who puts up such a fuss (even if it were TRUE emotions) and ruins their daughter's wedding? It has been my experience that these women thrive on being the center of attention.. and with the daughter getting married and you being there blah blah blah.. it was just too much non-attention for her.

But that might just be me being bitter.

Lovers do not finally meet somewhere, they were with each other all along.

That whole show was for the attention only. No matter what feelings from the past a woman has, when attending her childs wedding those feelings are not of importance, its the child's day. This bm just did what she could to make it about her agian...Sorry, no pity would be felt from me towards her.

Her daughter was stealing her thunder, after all... she probably didn't have any idea how to act or react to that... I feel for the daughter...

for the mother to act this way and leave early on the special day for her daughter is nothing but discusting! She was definitely making it all about her and showed no motherly love for her daughter on her wedding day. This is an unforgivable one in my eyes. Grow up and get over it lady, life goes on!

You know...I never thought of it that way!
I must be slipping in my old age...getting soft or something.

I've ranted on in the past about how self absorbed she is...and how I think she has Narcissist Personality Disorder or at the very least Borderline Personality Disorder. And being the center of attention, stealing her daughters attention etc...is classic..now that you've brought it to my attention. I (we) haven't had many dealings with her once the divorce became final...so I'm starting to forget what she's really all about.

Thanks for the reminder ladies....

I'm back on track!
