Selfish mothers.....will reap what they sow...
Youngest SD sent a very touching e-mail about family yesterday....and how we are often more 'polite and respectful of strangers feelings' than the feelings of those we supposedly love & care about....
She sent it to our e-mail address and her sisters....
.......her mother was not included.......
For all those who are now going through 'parent alienation' and bad behaviour by the mothers of your step-children. And all bio-moms who visit this site This is what eventually happens. Youngest SD despises her mother for the things she has said and done. The last thing she want's in this world is be like her mother in any way, shape or form....
She sided with her mother during the first several years...and went along with the poisoning of her relationship with her father..instigated by this woman. Her father waited it out..(when I thought he should've spoke out)..He was there whenever his daughter needed or wanted something..(as one-sided as it was)...he sat at home on her graduation night..while she hung out her mother and excluded her father...never saying a word..the list goes on..
As time went on....she saw the light...made her own observations..she made her own conclusions...and when she matured. .. She came to realise WHO was really there for her and who Played with her spirit & emotions for their own selfish purposes.
It's sad.....that she wouldn't send this very touching e-mail to her own mother.....
SD knows what the important aspects of being a family are and knew her mother just doesn't "get it".....
What comes around goes around...All the damage this woman tried to rain down on my hubby...all she has succeded in doing is driving her own child far far away from her!!
PS
Oh but she does want a 'family ring' for Xmas. A bobble to show the world what a great mother she is.....and how important her family is to her...after the things she has done to them.....HA!!!

It would be nice...
But I can't think that will ever happen because if it doesn't it is just too painful. It takes a long time and a lot of pain (as you know) to finally accept that no matter if you are a saint and martar, you'll get treated the exact opposite.
I'm so happy for you and your hubby that you finally got a tidbit of what you deserve. It is hope for us all.
