SGS is graduating. Not invited but…
DH just announced that he wants to go to SGS's high school graduation. This is the oldest son of SD who isn't talking to DH because... don't know. We used to have a good relationship with SGS but in the last few years no communication, no thank yous for gifts, etc. Expect that's about loyalty to his mother.
They are a plane ride away. When is the graduation? He doesn't know. Do we need tickets or is there a limit on seats? Don't know. He's going to call SD. Who likely won't pick up.
DH didn't ask me if I wanted to go, or even if I would go with him. He can't travel by himself, unless I put him on the plane and somebody picks him up on the other end.
Ok then. He's impulsive, I'm the planner. Guess who isn't planning this one?

To be honest.. I handle my
To be honest.. I handle my husband that way sometimes.. instead of making a big stink and fighting something.. I kind of just ignore it.. don't help or comment much. He either figures out I have no interest.. and changes his own mind.. .. or he figures out on his own it's too much work.. and gives up.. or he does whatever on his own.. and I don't have to particpate.
Yeah, no point fighting about
Yeah, no point fighting about it. And I would even go. I have family in the area and would be happy to hang with them while he does the graduation thing. It will be SO awkward, but have at it.
As Bette Davis used to say
"Goody!"
We were not invited to any of the high school "graduations" of any of the three ferals nor were we invited to Pumpkinheads' wedding...GOODY!
Yea, leave this one alone!

He can call the school
And ask any questions he has. Maybe he can get a few tickets?
