I'll start with the positive. In previous years SO has never acknowledged me on Mother's Day. I know I know not my kids etc BUT, I don't except skids to do anything (it always this weird pink elephant in the room on Mother's Day) but, I wanted him to do something nice for me.

Well, he got me a dog mom card with the dog paw prints (he bought an ink pad LOL) and bought hanging plants for the front porch. It was nice. 

Now on to MOTY. BMs mom planned this thing for BM and sent the skids a group text apparently asking them if they can join. SS16 said he couldn't and no idea what SS17s response was.. 

I'll add BM and her mom have had an on/off again relationship forever. She is not a good person for stories I won't get into here but, maybe she's trying to redeem herself no idea. 
 

So BMs mother picked SD up at 10am. 12:24pm BM dropped SD off................... I was at work for this but, this is what I don't get.

SS17 had to work at 2:30 so he easily could have gone. He probably didn't want to get up..? Not sure. SS16 was out at 2:30. SO! If BM wanted to actually spend time with her kids she would have figured it out. No, instead I had to drop SS17 off at work and pick up SS16. 
 

When we got home SS16, SD, and myself brought the dogs swimming and for simple walk. They swam more then walked lol. They had a blast. Puppy loves the water. They needed baths when we got back so did that. Then the 3 of us went to Walmart(SD wanted to by some little fridge thing for her room), the grocery store, grabbed dinner and home. 
 

In between taking the dogs swimming and running around SS16 was on the phone with BM. Everyone talks on speaker (*eye roll*) and I hear their conservation. Very generic. It was like listening to a grandkid talk to their grandparent that lives in another state or something. How much is your car insurance going to be? Do you like being in school vs virtual etc. It just blows my mind (still for some reason) that she literally makes zero effort to do anything with these kids. Besides the bait of baby/toddler pics?! Even ultrasound pictures LOLL. When it comes to actually planning anything she's incapable. 
 

I don't know why I'm still surprised. SO was like I didn't think this was going to be much today. SS17 didn't even go outside when she dropped SD off. I just don't get it.

Another positive.. SS17 and SS16 passed their licenses test today so we are one step closer of not having to see BM in our driveway ever again! With the boys it's very rare... just their bdays last year and once with SS17. The boys can drive SD over her house for Xmas now. It's exciting stuff! Just two more years for SD to get her license and we will be in the clear!
