So after lurking on this site a while, and realizing i wasn't crazy, I decided to take a stand with dh and his shit parenting. This last time sd was over I could tell a difference. I guess he's starting to see being consistent with rules and such works! She always did this thing where she would jump in my spot when I went to sit down... He actually told her to move and that was my place! :jawdrop: I actually felt respected. She also had consequences for jumping on the furniture... I never had to say anything! He took care of it. She's been eating healthier now that she can't eat candy and cookies anytime she wants. Hopefully this sticks. I just wanted to say how good it felt to have him finally stepping up! We will see how long it lasts.
