OT....I really can't stand people who just DON'T want to work!
I mean I don't ENJOY working myself...but I come to work like I am supposed to and try my best not to complain too much. I have some of THE sorriest co-workers in the world! There is one chick here who....well I am not sure who's knob she's slobbing but IT HAS TO BE someone's! She is NEVER here and then when she does actually grace everyone with her presence....she WILL find a way out of staying for the entire day. I mean the bitch JUST got back from a trip to St. Thomas...is that not vacation enough? And what idiot uses ALL their vacation before summer even gets here? How this woman has not gotten canned is beyond me! And I REALLY like when she uses her kids as an excuse...which is the majority of the time. If those kids are THAT sick all the time...I think it might be time to see a specialist! And it really gripes my ass when people use their kids to get out of work....what about those of us that DON'T have any kids??? Are we supposed to ALWAYS cover for sorry ass people that just do not have any desire to work. I would think if she has 2 kids and is a single mother....she would NEED the money. Apparently not. Sorry....just needed to get that off my chest!

I hate the "I have kids"
I hate the "I have kids" excuse. I have a life too! Fortunately, I work from home most of the time and I don't have to be annoyed by others.

It's gotten so bad I finally
It's gotten so bad I finally just went to management about it. That's a bunch of BS and I told them so. I might sound like a tattle tale but if that bitch can miss all this work and it's only APRIL and NOT get fired.....what about the rest of us here? I don't mind coming to work....seeing how I am paying for all the other sorry asses out there that don't want to work and just be on wellfare and reproduce all the time and therefore I can't even afford a child of my own!!!!( not that I want one at the moment...heaven forbid if I did though) But if she's not going to get fired....maybe I should start laying out of work too....I mean I have PLENTY of other things that I would much rather be doing! HAHA
****I can do bad all by myself****
Your coworker sounds like
Your coworker sounds like one of the BMs we blog about here!
I know a lot of women who were/are single moms who bust their butts to make ends meet for their kids and themselves. It's sad when people use their own kids like that.
sounds like my SS mom,,,
sounds like my SS mom,,, she's a lazy peice of crap that chooses NOT to work and her dumb ass new husband is all for it,,, i think it's because he doesn't trust her?
after all he met her when she was still with my DH
(AT WORK) HMMMMM
I'm glad I go to work to take care of her responsibility.
It has been my experience
It has been my experience that people that choose not to work even though the need is there to be bringing in an income, do so because others make it possible for them. Take for example, a lot of the situations on ST where adult children are taking from their parent(s) or custodial parents of school age children who seem perfectly content with living off the monthly child support payments.
Seeing an article about just this is what first brought me to ST, where one of the people commented about this site and I have been coming by here almost everyday reading the posts and comments and gaining insight on how to deal with my situation where my SO enables his adult children to not work. Mind you his kids are the same age as I am, but I feel as though I am helping to support these lazy adults and am getting closer and closer to running for the hills!!!
