He's getting promoted, and we're trying to figure out how to explain him going to school and coming right back to where he left from. She's a money-grubbing bitch, so avoiding tipping her off that he has more money to claim for CS is key. DH doesn't mind supporting his child, but the CS is going to her convertible payment and mortgage, not SD15.

I had just come up with a plan... (pardon the sappiness, I didn't realize how over-the-top sickening we are)

DH: And I can embellish and say it's more to support you cause your career is priority, that will get her pissed off
I think she hates it when I talk about how good you are at your job and that I'm willing to support your career

DH: It's opportunity, I enjoy it
She should realize that she can't even compete, there is no comparison

all we have to do is keep rubbing her nose in it and paddling her, just like a puppy

DH: She should just let it go, but it's not her nature
