In Laws NOT moving IN (YESSSS!)

HOWEVER! my DH seems to hate my guts because I said his mom and dad could not move in! I have heard nothing but horror stories about letting in laws move in....and DH and I are just getting over issues abut his two ss.....they only visit every other weekend but I could not take them 2 kids his mom and dad and him along with OUR two kids 1 month old and 1 year old

No way! I would leave my Dh first before I was willing to live with his mother. Congrats on getting your way. That would definitely be a deal breaker!

Yeah but now I have to put up with attitude from DH and dirty looks from his parents Im sure he will tell them its because of me they cant come.....which puts me in a bad spot because I told DH when he first asked me and I said no....but he kept askin every other day and then I caved in and said yes....but after thinkin no this is my house !!!! I changed my mind and said no! BUT she did lose her job and dad is on disability ...but dont get it twisted they in the streets every weekend shoppin and visiting friends they both can walk and talk and see ....his dad had a stroke a few years back so thats why he is on disability...and as far as his mom she can find a job, but its a certain type of job she wants and thats what pissed me off! I told u about all these now hiring signs I saw but you feel they are beneath you...so hell no you cant move in here

I remember when you posted about this a few weeks ago.....good for you!!

You would have regretted letting them move in.

Congrats for being able to put your foot down. I've also never heard any good stories about in-laws being let to move in. Heck, I even have a horror story of my own!

I also remember your intial post. Good for you for sticking to your guns.

Your case reminded me of a situation where my DH's sister (lives in FL)called us because her daughter was considering going to college in our town. I told DH that if he'd even considered letting her move in w/us, I was leaving. SD already lives w/us and has created enough drama.
