A low bow...I'm extremely and wonderfully surprised to see that there is a place we horrid stepmothers can actually show our feelings without being considered Evil Aliens Who Eat Children. I'm a new stepmother (I'm also a BM who successfully raised three children to adulthood - at least that's what the three insist). I'm so glad this site exists.

I'm in a relationship that is about a year and a half old. I've been an ESMFH (evil stepmother from hell) for six months of that time. To make a long story short (I know, I know...too late), my SO is younger than I am, she became pregnant just after she received her college degree in education, divorced the bastard who controlled every aspect of her life for 9 years 6 years ago, and has an 11 year old who apparently thinks she is the Universe's Gift to...well...the Universe.

Puddin' Poo (*name changed to protect the guilty) is an only child whose father would not allow my SO to discipline or teach. We'll start with that little fact and I'll elaborate as we go along here.

Once again, I'm grateful that this wonderful group of strong women exist.
