Been a busy time for me so now that things have settled down I thought I’d post a little update.

We hosted my mom’s 85th birthday party in our back yard after my sister called about a week and a half before the party to see if we would. I was happy to but had to make a mad dash to get everything ready.

The kitties are getting along pretty well. It was touch and go the first week or two. Now they sleep together and give each other baths. So very cute. (Not sure how to post a picture on here so any help would be appreciated.) They have both been to the vet with some minor aliments (cold; skin irritation & ear infection). After some medicine they are doing well.

Our anniversary trip has been shrunk down to a day trip now due to a family party scheduled on our anniversary. We’ll go out of town they day before and go out on a date that night to celebrate. I’m so looking forward to getting away.

Puke hasn’t been here since the end of January and DH has not gone out there to see her since just after Easter. DH told me that Puke doesn’t answer her phone some times when DH calls if BM is around because BM will b!tch and complain to Puke once she hangs up. Maybe this is true but Puke’s track record makes me believe that this is just a story Puke tells so she doesn’t have to admit she has no desire or time for her dad (unless she wants something from him). I say nothing to DH.

Puke told DH that she has been doing some work on her online high school courses. So I was curious how much she actually has been doing so looked it up. It’s been almost a month since she finished an assignment. Her “graduation” date is 10/2017 and she is 40% done with an average grade of 72. Interesting. I put a bug in DH’s ear after he said something about being done with CS when Puke turns 18 since she will probably not go to college. I asked if he knew how it would affect CS if Puke did not graduate. He said he would probably have to ask a lawyer. That’s where I left it. He can stew on that for a bit.

Over all DH and I are getting along much better. I’m much happier being out of the loop that is Puke.
