The last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind personally and just finally calming down enough I can post something. It’s not much really.

My mom called one morning from her doctor’s a few weeks ago saying he told her to go to the hospital. It wasn’t anything real serious but doctor thought she might need surgery. Turns out she was on IV antibiotics for a few days and was released. Spent all day that day in the hospital with her and every night after that until I was able to take her home.

Then a week later my father in law was taken the ER to find out he was going to need a pacemaker. Everything went well and he doing well at home. Needless to say that was more time at the hospital. Over the weekend DH and I were over to their farm so DH could mow they “yard” which is more like acreage that took him almost 3 hours to mow. Then last night we had to go over so I could download data from his pacemaker.
Next week I’m on vacation! Can’t wait!! DH and I are taking a couple days to go camping. So ready to unplug and relax.

While my mom was in the hospital DH tells me that Puke wants to come for a weekend visit plus bring her BF. DH told her that it wasn’t a good weekend to bring BF with my mom in the hospital but she was more than welcome to come. Puke ends up calling MIL to ask if she and BF could stay there because they couldn’t stay with us. MIL says yes. Long story short Puke completely cancels her visit.

Then DH tells me that Puke drops her phone and shatters her screen. DH has her look around there to see about getting it fixed. Long story short MIL offered to pay the $200 to have it fixed.

DH talked to me last night on the ride home saying that Puke was so apologetic about how much it cost to have her phone fixed. He didn’t tell her that MIL paid for it. DH said he wanted Puke to think we had to come up with the money. Not sure why but oh well. Then he said that Puke and BM was looking into registering to go to a public school as it was too late for her to get into the “special school” that would help her to get caught up. That would happen next year. DH said that Puke is still working on the online school until she starts in public school.
Honestly this is just a hot mess and don’t wish to be any part of. It’s just pure entertainment for me as I wait to see how things unfold.
