morning mayhem....
Ok, so my ss13 and my sd10 decided that this morning was going to be the morning to gang up on my. Usually when they act up in the morning i ignore it cause the fights with them usually arent worth the time. So they both decided they were going to talk to me like crap, bang my dh and i things around, punch the walls and act like 2 year olds. I told them that i am done i do everything for everyone in the house and nobody does anything for me, that life isn't a fairytale filled with shopping and getting to do whatever u want all day everyday and welcome to the real world. I explained that i am tired of the way they treat me and talk to me. I also told them both that from now on the can walk to school (we live 2 blocks from it) until they learn to have respect for me, their father and our things. Sd10 says she doesnt want to walk and i told her i dont want to be treated like this so u should of thought about that before u decided to treat me like this.
Is this wrong to tell them? Im at my breaking point and have tried everything. I hate feeling like the bad guy and thats how they make me feel

I don't see anything wrong with what you told them. It's a privilege to be driven to school when they live so close, they were disrespectful, so you revoked said privilege and told them your expectations so that they could re-earn the privilege. Sounds good to me!

Works for me. Just stick to your guns. If you don't stop it now, it will get worse. I have been doing this with SD13 and it is working. She barely talks to me anymore. Sounds terrible, but it is better than the telling me off all the time.

You did the right thing. The skids bad behavior should have consequences, and that is what they got. They are complaining about walking 2 blocks to school? Maybe you should follow that up with a lecture about how you had to walk to school in the snow with no shoes on, uphill both ways... LOL, that's what my dad used to tell me

Yes sadly they are complaining about it and I said I don't care it's not my problem anymore I am done being treated like this. lol I love that lecture, I used to have to walk to my bus stop when I was little sometimes (it was almost a mile) I didn't care. I've tried telling them that and they just stare at me like i'm purple or something
