Child Protective Services II
CPS has been called back in. The first time was back in August 2009. 14 yr. old SS was in hospital due to out of control diabetes and hospital called CPS to investigate BM. Nothing came out of it that time.
This time, 14 yr. old SS was placed on new insulin pump in February 2010. I (SM) along with SS and BF attended 4 training classes with Dr. office from Dec. to Feb. BM made 1 appt. and never showed or attempted to reschedule. 14 yr. old told Dr. he is afraid to go back to BM. She has been talking about killing herself a lot again, and told both boys -her BSs- that she will take them with her when she kills herself. The man they have known all their lives as their BF is not really their dad. This woman is crazy!!!!!!!!!!
14 yr. old told all of this to his diabetic doctor while he was alone with the doctor. The doctor then called CPS and told then to re-open our case.
We will see what, if anything, happens this time.

Rabon, Someone needs to send
Rabon,
Someone needs to send BM an accelerated guide to commiting suicide and aid her in any way possible within the confines of the law.
I am a T-1 diabetic myself and BM has no idea how much pain, misery and suffering she is causing SS-14 by failing to effectively managing his diabetes. Think constant pain to your entire body, incessance nausia, head aches and general malaise beyond anything a non-diabetic could possible comprehend.
I am approaching the 30th anniversary of my Dx with diabetes. I am extremely fortunate to have had incredible support from my parents and the best medical care available. Even with this support and though I have no indications of the long term degridations associated with diabetes I have had periods in my life that were incredibly unpleasant due to this disease.
Someone needs to put BM out of SS-14's misery. Her willful torture of that poor kid warrants a most heinously painful demise.
IMHO of course.
Best regards,
Success is rarely final. Failure is rarely fatal. It is character, courage and consistency of effort that count. Vince Lombardi (with some minor Rags modifications) To each according to their performance, screw Karl Marx. (Rags)
BM is also a T-1 diabetic.
BM is also a T-1 diabetic. BF and I both have been told we have T-2. Even with T-2 I have hypo. and was always fainting and passing out the entire time I was pregnant with BD.
BM just does not care. She and I have same OB-GYN. I was at that Dr. office today and the doctor told me that BM is very close to completely crashing and probably attempting to take her life. BF and I have been told that there is nothing that we can do to keep boys away from BM until we go back to court in April. We just pray that she stays "normal" until after court.
