ugly stepkids
I was reading where some of you said your stepkids are ugly...while i found some of it humorous and some of it mean....i am finding that you guys sound just like me....i am ashamed i feel this way towards SD but she really isnt that cute...i feel i must get this off my chest...her bottom lip hnags low and she always has mouth open...and sometimes drools.....she does this while rocking back and forth..eats with mouth open..food all on the floor...shes 14 and i think shes too old for this....it bothers me..sometimes i look at her when she can't see me and i'm thinking to myslef how unattractive she really is......now i have to sit back and think if i am jealous over her and is that why i say she's ugly...am i jealous that my huband and her mother have a child and we don't....he eyeborws are like jack o lantern eyebrows...i asked husband if i can shape them for her, he says no to leave them alone....but why when the kids are making fun of her...i fell really bad for admiting how i feel...but it is what it is

OMG.......this kid (we all
OMG.......this kid (we all think he has asperger's, he is finally getting an eval. SO...I have a few more weeks of saying what I want because right now its not offical that he is disabled----he is still fair game for now). He never shuts his damn mouth and of drooling comes with that, he has really bad posture so his back curls and he'll tilt his head and curl his arms up........he looks like something out od the looney bin. He freaking rocks too...for years I have been trying to teach him manner....waste of my time. He stabs big pieces of food with his fork and gnaws on it and rocks.....chewing with his mouth open , making all kinds of noises, food flys all over the place. He claims he will choke if he eats with his mouth closed!!!! In fact, MIL is here she....Sunday we went out to eat...he was doing that PLUS banging his head....she asked what was up with that. He smells, terrible and his teeth are orange and his breath is so bad I has bad me gag I have to drive with the windows open. We are on his case abouty brushing his teeth all time.....he still doesn't. BM takes him to those $6.99 haircutting place....just to make matter worse...words cannot describe how bad his haircuts are. Then he will only wear the clothes his mom got him...the last time she got him clothes was in 8th grade...he is now in 11th. He has a closest full of nice clothes that I got him....J Crew, Ralph Lauren, Tommy etc.....he wouldn't wear the stuff....not that it will help. He blows his nose in his shiet and there are times he fortgets to wipe his butt. You could put this kid in a Lamborghini and he still wouldn't look good.
whoa..that is really sad...so
whoa..that is really sad...so he may be disabled? I thought that too of my SD be she sits with back rounded...head tucked in chest and has really really bad posture..and rocks back and forth and sometimes you have to call her name 3 times even though you are standing right next to her....didn't realize this might be an actual condition
Is she really spazzy does she
Is she really spazzy does she has a har dtime doing simple things (like buttons etc)? She is immature? Lacking friends? Does she or did she have behaviore outbursts?

You just described how my ss sits and reacts at times....
Fot years DH and BM believed that the child was perfectly normal....I knew otherwise. So I just thought of it as he is a "normal kid"....so I did't feel bad about saying things. But we are taking him for an eval the middle of Oct and this will change because I will not long be dealing with a "normal child". I took me almost 8 years to convince DH that the kid needed an eval......he thought this crap was normal.
Well, my little boy is
Well, my little boy is Autistic and he does some of these things. He doesn't talk yet. It is hard to get him to brush his teeth well, but I really do try. This kind of made me sad. I hope that my ex's girlfriend doesn't make fun of him. I really would have to hurt her.
This kinda made me laugh but
This kinda made me laugh but also made me think of my own step kid. Whenever I take him out to stores or whatever people are always constantly stopping to look and comment at how handsome or cute he is. Hes got this BIG blue eyes, light colored hair chubby cheeks... I don't know whats worse? Having an ungly step child or one thats too cute for words.
Its bad enough he gets all the attention from his daddy that when we go out he gets it from random strangers too? haha I think you should be thankful or comforted by the fact that your guy couldn't create a beautiful child with his ex! haha just something to think about.
now THAT was funny...wow,
now THAT was funny...wow, that DOES make me feel better....you're right bc if him and I had kids...they would be as fine as ever!!
SEE thats what I'm saying!
SEE thats what I'm saying! haha Now when him and I decide to have a child of our own I have more pressure to make a child just as "perfect" as his!
do you think husband knows
do you think husband knows she's not cute??
When my son was a
When my son was a baby/toddler, everyone thought he was a girl because of his LONG eyelashes and curly hair.
Even though I always dressed him in BLUE.
Here again is an area where I
Here again is an area where I get no credit. SD went through a very homely stage... 9 to 16. DH & BM did nothing to help her, except for braces.. which her teeth were not bad and the least of her problems. She had loong naturally frizzy hair.. acne, braces, ill-fitting glasses and dressed in baggie jeans way too long, and over-sized sports shirts accented with a baseball caps.
I took her shopping to the petite section to get jeans and tops that fit. Got rid of the sports shorts for swim suit. Talked DH into contacts, taught her how to straighten her hair, convinced her to get her hair styled, turned her on to a hygiene regime with proactive.
She really blossomed into a beautiful girl-- now waiting for her emotional IQ to catch up!
My SS is not a very
My SS is not a very attractive kid either... and I HATE HATE saying that... but then sometimes I think it's really just a scientific reaction a stepmother gets when seeing a child that is not hers... or really any mother... I'm sure lots of 'just' Biomoms see some kids at daycare and think..whoo..not a pretty child... But my SS has large buck teeth, hooded eyes, he's overweight and has several chins, and huge fleshy ears, and hair that grows like a horses with cow licks all over it... man.. I'm mean... but it's true..although (besides my mother..who I was venting too) this is absolutly the only forum I would share this in!
SD6 was a very cute baby,
SD6 was a very cute baby, about up until 2. Then, I don't know what happened but she got very homely. Like, sh$t your pants if you see her in a dark alley homely. I know it's not biased, if I was a stranger and didn't know her I still wouldn't think she was a cute or attractive kid. The older she gets, the more she grows into her features that look like a carbon copy of BM and BM is not a pretty individual. Soooo I can see where that's going unfortunately...I mean, obviously I never tell the kid this, but i've always thought it. And I myself wonder if DH realizes ?
