Just a clarification....

Nobody is going to say it, but we certainly all know it is true-even if we don't want to admit it:

Men have always had the ego/testosterone problem right-you always hear how their egos got them in trouble....well, here's the inside on women....

Women are even worse, we have egos and pride and let me tell you, we are catty!!! Women in general, when confronted with another woman (especially one "trying to take our place") are extremely catty, bitchy, jealous and very very defensive of our children-just like men's egos.

My poor DH, his Ex cheated after 10 yrs of marriage-he took her back-she cheated again afetr 15 yrs and he said adios-yet she still acted like a hag and like she did nothing wrong...and very catty toward me...she even tried to get him back after her "internet affair" didn't work out in person...then she tried to be friends with him and tell him about her boyfriends-eeeeewwwwyyyyy! Women are nuts (you all know we are)

Exactly.....and that same woman is still living with the man that she cheated with, but won't let her kids' dad have any happiness. I admit that I can have my brat moments, but what joy do I really get from that? I have found taking clippers to my hedges lately has helped get my anger out....not so good for hedges, but heck! LOL Smile

I admire guys and how they are able to disagree, but not too soon after, all is fine! I've always noticed that guys are much more laid back than us ladies!

I think what you said about us women is so true, and it's the reason why we have so many BM vs. SM problems.

men can divide their emotions and separate. Women struggle with this and can be known to take the actions of another woman as personal.

I am lacking in the ability to realize that some of this turmoil has less to do with me and more to do with the insecurities that go with being a woman. For isn't that a lot of our driving force? Our fear and insecurities?

That's what makes us "catty"... thinking that we are less because of someone else's existence. Where, really, maturity can allow us to see that our self worth is all in our own hands rather than others.

So I agree that men seem to have it figured out sooner and better than women. We look in the mirror and see flaws and men tend to see strengths... but we seem to be more complex in nature allowing us all kind of off the chart emotions that men don't always bother with.

I still love being a woman. Smile
