SPEECHLESS!!!!!!!!
Ok Ill start from beginning... SD(20) moved in year and a half ago..Since she has been playing her father like a fiddle..very jealous and needy..her brother got a dog sooo she had to have a dog. without my knowledge..my Husband told her she could get 1..HMMM thats nice I am allergic..well a yr later..she has given him 2 baths, walked him 1x, and picked up the Sh@% in back yard 3x..My husband pays 4 everything except food..the only time she spends with it is at night when she sleeps...(he told me she is responsible and would take care of it) HAHAHA! Now for the past 2 weeks she is at her mothers and doesnt know when shes comeing back..we have the dog...i dont want a dog and never did!!!! We are fighting bad because he gets frustrated because he really doesnt want 1 either...He says nothing to her and takes it out on me...she stopped by yesterday and he tells her everything is fine and how good the dog is!!! LIAR!!!!! because as soon as she leaves he bitches at me...I want to say something soooo Bad...but I know it will make us fight more...Really need 2 go!!!

Can you go drop the dog off at her mothers house? Her dog her responsibility.
SD says she cant take the dog
SD says she cant take the dog because BM leases and they are aloud 1 dog and they have 1...now huband did say if she is moving back in with her mom then she need to find somwhere for it to go...but thats what he says to me..it always changes when he talks to SD.

being an animal lover, i would never take out my anger on the animal or take it to shelter or anything (i'm not saying you are)~ however, you should give sd notice that since she can not or will not care for the angel you are actively seeking a happy home for him/her.
the useless, irresponsible bitch probably doesn't give a fuck, but still the animal shouldn't suffer, it only wants to love and be loved. ~ unlike the many skids/skads we have to deal with daily!

Your DH is an ass. I am sorry, but his response to Sd saying "I want a dog" should have been "Sorry SD, but SC is allergic and you know that. No dogs in this house."
Done. That's it. She would have pouted, and that is usually when I would respond with something like "Why are you pouting like a baby? You are 20, if you want a dog, move out and get one. You want adult responsibilities, then start by acting like an adult."
Some of these husbands with this guilty daddy thing are just plain rediculous (sp?) And good for you for tell SD that the dog will be gone in a week if she doesn't come home and actually own up to her responsibilities.
I didnt know I was allergic
I didnt know I was allergic untill about 2 month after she got him..I was really sick 4 like 2 months and went to doctors and she ran all kinds of tests..But I think what he sould have said when she asked him was (let me talk to your SM and see how she feels about having a dog that she will have to clean up after!!)
He definitly should have
He definitly should have talked to you. And once they found out you were allergic, it was time to re-home the dog. I got an email at work about folks who have to rehome their 7 year old dog because they found out that their 2 year old is highly allergic to dogs. They are heartbroken that they have to do it, but the health of the child comes first.
