Update - Holy Crap
Well SD called SO last night to inform him that she made the competitive cheer team this year. I was honestly pretty surprised but I am happy at the same time. This means that SD will be busy all the time going to these cheer competitions and SO already told her and BM prior to her trying out that we couldn't afford the out of town competitions/etc. Therefore, BM will be stuck taking her to all these damn competitions and we will have less SD time....seems like a win/win for me! LOL
SD has a big tendancy to get "severly hurt" though so we shall see how long it is before an injury prevents her form participating. I am guessing it won't be long after she realizes how much work and effort she has to put into this.....

Congratulations on having
Congratulations on having less time with SD. I hope this keeps her busy and that she does well in the competitions. Sometimes things do end up working out :).
Very few parents can afford
competitive cheer teams. That why she made it !! You have traveling gas, hotel for two or three nights. Eating at restaurants with the team. Adults Splitting the bill for all. Time at competition. Food at competition. And parents at night normally drink at the bar at hotel.
Um, yeah, it is
Um, yeah, it is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to expensive and we can't afford it. We made that known to BM. I am only surprised because last year she didn't make it and I was kind of expecting her to not make it again. I'm sure BM weasled her in there somehow because she is a "cheer mom". I hope BM and SD drive the whole team crazy like they do me! LOL! I'm just glad SO already told BM that we can't support it on our weekends so she will have to do it all!
