Got some interesting information from BM today
She finally told DH what was medically wrong with her and she asked about SS5's parent teacher conference which she did not go to because SS7 was home sick.
I know it's none of our business when it comes to BM's medical issues but she told DH today because there is a chance that SKids could have or carry it. She called it "Genetic Lupus". I looked it up and there is no such thing it's just Lupus (maybe with a genetic cause) but all the web sites tell you Genetics alone doesn't cause it, there is usually an environmental trigger like medications, stress or pregnancy. It also affect 90% of women so with sKids being male I hope they don't get it. More importantly it can lead to other complication especially since I assume she has had it since getting pregnant with SS5 (when the seizures started). As much and I don't like her and think at time my life would be better off with out her - I don't want her to die. I don't want to deal with that but it's really on her at this point to do what the doctor's tell her.
But I have to say that her having Lupus does explain a lot. People with that tend to be Manic and have issues with Anxiety. The also with drawl from family - she is spending less quality time with sKids. But it says when you don't feel well that is all normal.
As for the parent teacher conference DH told her that it went great he is improving well but needs to work on a few things. His aide even sat in and told us that at times she will just sit back and watch SS5 do everything himself, but still often has to remind SS7 to get moving - because they end up waiting on him at the end of the day. BM admitted that SS5 was more independent that SS7 and is catching up to SS7 in a lot of ways. SS5 almost has better handwriting that SS7.
BM seemed annoyed when DH told her that SS5 and probably SS7 would need summer school.
Apparently though BM added that she is paying a little extra this summer and sending sKids to this after school program/child care place and getting him/them (not sure if it's one or both) a tutor., as apposed to last year when her MIL watched the boys at her house all summer. I think that is great and exactly when SKids need - mainly to be around other kids their ages. However we will no being doing that on our weeks, as a stay at home mom I will be watching the boys but I plan to do things with them. The town library does a ton of kids activities and I found a few other groups that do stuff. One week last summer I had something planned every day - but I wore the kids out (the fell asleep in the car on the 4th day) so now I allow for a day off here and there
All in all very informative.

Our BM has lupus too. She had
Our BM has lupus too. She had a blood clot a few months ago that almost killed her. It was really scary. I don't care for BM but I would never want anything to happen to her. But she's also BiPolar and on top of all of that a hypochondriac so I honestly never know what to believe. But she did have the blood clot. She was in the hospital for 2 weeks. Scary.
Summer program sounds great for the kiddos.
Our BM is always fishing for
Our BM is always fishing for sympathy so it's hard to tell if it's serious or not. It does sound like she has it based on what I have heard and what DH has said about her before they split. It does fit.
I could see her faking some issues though just to get DH to feel bad for her. It's funny because I have issues myself and when I say things she just wort of rolls her eyes at me. I have not admitted to everything though, she knows I have anxiety issues and a sleep problem. Truth is I have Narcolepsy but it's not like what you see on TV, I just get really tired.
From what I have read they
From what I have read they say it goes with not feeling well, I guess they tend to be a little more emotional.
