What a difference a day makes
I am sure I have said it before - but I hate Sundays. More so on the Sundays that BM brings the boys (4 and 6) over to start our week, though the Sunday we drop off can be bad too. SS6 talks about the new game that BM most likely got for him.
This past Sunday BM dropped the boys off and SS4 was crying, because they had just come from the park and he didn't want to leave. They were both way over tired and dirty. They were dressed really retarded., both need a hair cut something bad. There was candy in their school bags (again) and... we saw them on Saturday for the holiday, yeah they both still had on the same underwear.
As the night progressed there was no pleasing (over tired) SS4. He just wanted to go to bed. He pouted because we would let him eat dinner in his bedroom (like BM does) then he cried because it wasn't pizza. He didn't want a bath - but really needed one. Finally we put him in bed (early).
SS6 wasn't too much better, but he doesn't like it when you think he is tired so he was trying to act like he wasn't. He was bored and a little bother some. His biggest issue was Saturday when we saw him his pants were on backwards and the tongue of his shoes where jammed all the way into the toes (not even sure how that is comfortable).
The next day...
They were both clean well behaved (for the most part) little boys. FDH called me to check on SS4 (who doesn't have school on Mondays) and I told him it was like he wasn't even the same kid. He was happy, energetic. He even helping me make pudding which we then had with our lunch. We played out side and when it was time to come in he did with out throwing a fit.
SS6 was also in better spirits he ate a good lunch and school and then played out side with SS4 and I for a little while after he got home.
It's just amazes me.
